I asked about a treatment for acid reflux. Many said Nexium contains
gluten. Most commonly suggested alternatives include Prilosec by Astra
Zenecca (1-800-236-9933) and Prevacid by TAP Pharmaceuticals (1-800-622-2011
or 1-800-478-9526). Both GF according to Clan Thompson Gluten-Free Drug
Database. Additionally recommended are Protonix, Zantac, Acifex, Betaine HCl/
3 tabs per day. Less frequently mentioned options are DGL, Axid, Axid AR,
Brioschki, pepto-bismal, lowfat diet w/ walking, no food in evening,
Ranitidine, low acid diet w/ no bubbly drinks, small frequent meals.
Thanks very much.
