I've got two problems with an old Windows 95 system. The first is that when
I try to start a dial-up session, I get an error in RUNDLL32.DLL. Clicking
on Details yields an error in different programs, most often TAPI.EXE After
looking at the Microsoft knowledge base, I decided to reload Windows on top
of itself to try to correct the DUN error. When I run Setup.exe from the
CD, I get an error that it has encountered an invalid CAB file. I've tried
this on 2 different W95 CDs and got the same error.
When I click on IE to start a dial-up session, the computer normally
connects, so I'm not totally out of luck with the system.
Any suggestions on what to do next, short of reformatting and reinstalling
everything?
