In some areas the absentee vote was as high as 50% and in a few instances,
even greater than 50%.
Just a brief perusal of these results shows the obvious:
1. That the UDP boycott did show that many Gambians like the absentee
party, are also fed up with the farce of a democracy which we have back home.
By your boss' admission, democracy is bad since it only causes divisions.
2. It casts doubt on the outcome of the general elections.
