Ideally, one should wire a meter-reading circuit in parallel with the
meter which monitors plate current and plate voltage etc.  However, if you
have any sort of audible RF meter that can handle the power level, peaking
for max output should generally work satisfactorily with the SB-220.  IIRC
they weren't too terribly fussy.
