Access is like Word or Excel ... knowing how to use it is a skill that will
almost certainly come in handy in the long run because of its wide use.
Sometimes, I think every programmer-in-training has written either a new
database program or a new editor, there are so many of them out there.  I
have; but frankly have never used; the last release of PC-File, written
primarily (if not exclusively) for Windows and can send that along if you'd
like.  I make absolutely no promises about its accessibility.
