        Hello,

My Kenwood 2550 2-meter rig may not be dead; however, it is certainly moribund. Therefore, I may soon be looking for a rig and need recommendations. I
don't have the bucks for a new one, at least that's what my wife says; so, in lieu of that, please could someone suggest something in the way of a 2 and 440
base or mobile rig with an available speech module. One feature that I really want is tone squelch for both encoding and decoding. I wish I had something
which would cross band but think such is likely out of my price range. I apologize if I haven't verbalized what I am looking for very well. Thanks in advance for
any ideas.

Don Roberts
