The Celiac Awareness Group of Long Island is hosting
an evening of Cocktails, Dinner and Music to benefit the
Celiac Disease Center at Columbia
Thursday, October 24, 2002 at 7:00 pm
at The Metropolitan
3 Glen Cove Road Glen Cove, NY
Peter H.R. Green, M.D., will be the featured speaker. Dr. Green is
the Director of the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University,
Clinical Professor of Medicine and one of the few recognized
specialists
on Celiac Disease in this country.
Joining Dr. Peter Green will be Dr. Carolyn Becker, Associate Director
of the Toni Stabile Osteoporosis Center/Metabolic Bone Disease Program
at Columbia-Presbyterian and Associate Professor of Medicine.
The evening will also feature performances by award-winning cabaret
artists Lesley Pryde and Peter-Michael Marino and acclaimed pianist
Laura Leon.
The cost of the dinner is $125 per person and will be gluten free.
