I'm a little bit hazy on this, but ESCD (extended system configuration
data) is an attempt by the BIOS to enumerate and allocate system resources.
If a plug-n-pray OS, such as Windows, is installed on the system, the OS
should be handling the task.

So- in the BIOS settings, you should tell it "yes" that the OS is PnP,
resources are controlled by "Auto", and Reset Configuration Data is "disabled".
