All the notebooks we own, compaq, hewlett packard, dell, ibm, toshiba, and
sony use a standardized ram module that is interchangable among them, but is
not compatible with any desktop model.  Its recognizable by being quite a
bit shorter than the standard for pc-100 or pc-133 desktop 168 pin sdram
module.

Is PC-100, 64MB SIMM RAM interchangeable between a notebook
and a desktop?  Are they the same?
