Hi folks,

Thanks for your comments on the Clearspeech units. Buddy's notes
about cw operation were especially useful, although I don't operate
enough cw to worry about it, and when I do can remove it from the
circuit.

I also appreciate Kevin's offer of sale of a used one. I'm thinking
about buying one seriously. I think AEs has them for $149 still.

Most of my operating is as a net control on the maritime mobile
service net and other traffic nets or ragchewing. THe rig is an Icom
740 with the cw filter installed, so I can see where it would be
useful with it.

A friend of mine has dsp on his 706 and it sure does take away the
offenders such as the lid tuning up on freq, but had never heard the
clearspeech units.

Again thanks everybody for the comments.
