HELP..no sound on this DELL LAPTOP, went to DELL site and downloaded
appropriate driver, ESS MAESTRO, ran the setup and it installed with sound.
WOrks great..BUT, when I shut the computer off and restart the sound is not
there. It only works when I run the install and do not log off machine? I
need to have this setting take effect at all times, don't want to re-install
everytime I turn the computer on. This is a great group...for help. YES, I
called DELL, they will not talk to anybody who is not first purchaser of
machine ( Bought it used)...they said I need a SYSTEM CD or RESOURCE CD
thats all they would let me know. Any help appreciated.
