Hi,
I will agree with Howard here. If you have a virus and you simply format,
how do you know that
the virus did not get put in memory and then installed on the new reload of
the OS? Did you Fdisk the drive to remove the partition? Did you power
down between steps or do a restart? If it's a restart virus can still be
in memory. Is it possilbe that the BIOS has one in it now?
And yes, you have to check all your disks, then write protect them, and any
"Burnt" cd's that you may be using to restore programs or data.
