One way to look at it. The other way is to recall that paleo
humans tended to be taller and bigger boned than moderns.
With our recent higher energy diets we are nearing the norm
for our species under its natural diet. Of course, sugar
isn't the best way to do this  ;--)  but I don't see
anything wrong with the mere increase in size.
