Our son is highly allergy to any product with casein. We vigilantly look up
the ingredient lists for any of the fast food places.

We have found hamburgers at Wendy's, McDonald's and Burger King to be safe.
The chicken strips at Arby's are okay. The Chicken Sandwich at Wendy's is
safe, but the chicken nuggets are not.

We always check the internet, if possible, for restaurant nutrition/allergy
information. Also, we talk to managers and explain severe allergies and,
usually, they are more than happy to read off the ingredient listing for any
thing we ask about.

Best of luck to you; I know how hard it can be!

Eileen

Subject: Restaurants

With summer vacation season upon us does anyone know of any chain
restaurants where you can be pretty confident about getting a dairy-free
meal. My milk-allergic son rarely gets anything from a restaurant other
than a hamburger happy meal from McDonalds. But I get tired of McDonalds
pretty fast and would like to have some other options. Thanks.

Sandy
