It is my son he is 2. If someone touches him who has eaten dairy he will
turn red and break out in huge itchy welts--but it is not an anaphylactic
reaction as when he ingests or gets it into his mouth.
My old Italian aunties said my father had the same condition as a baby and he
could have sheep's milk curdled. But they are in their 90's and can't really
remember--they thought my Dad's condition was brought on by a bad fever.
Jack's doc doesn't think there's any connection and doesn't want to risk it.
Thanks to all who responded. I thought as much. Was holding out hope for
maybe even some romano on my pasta.
