Linux has one of the best fdisk utilities that I have seen. It is not as
easy to use as Partition Magic, for example, but I found it to do a
better job than PM. You should try using one of them. Of course, you
will need to have a Linux boot disk to do so. Perhaps one of the Linux
gurus on the list can help you if you don't know how to do this. I am a
relative novice where Linux is concerned. There should be three versions
of fdisk on your Linux system. They are named "fdisk"-a basic
partitioning utility, "cfdisk"-an easy to use interface, and
"sfdisk"-does it all and then some, but difficult to use.
Hope this is of some help.
Peter

My intention was to split the capacity into 10 gig partions to handle
W98SE / Linux / Games / Data / Backup / etc. - but of course, FDISK
can't handle such large partitions, - or can it?
