If you are looking for connectivity solutions, a good place to start is

I recently purchased a new Xircom USB-to-USB adapter/connector to
establish a link between my notebook and desktop, only to discover
that my notebook doesn't have a USB port. It does, however, have all
the other port connections and they are all available. Is there a simple
solution - an adapter - that will allow me to use this hardware?
