I found an oil on sale in the supermarket here in Japan, It is labeled
Shiso oil, which my dictionary translates as Perila or beefsteak
plant. It is a common herb here used in cooking.
The interesting thing for me was the nutritional info, Omega 3, 55%,
omega 6, 12%, omega 9, 20%.
Anybody have any info on this product? I do not have access to flax
oil here, this would seem to be a good substitute. It is light and
tasteless and nearly colorless.
