I'm curious.  What are your symptoms?  I find that the pills BARELY work for
me.  Dairy Care also only barely works.  So I gave up on both and simply
avoid all lactose.  But I can drink gallons of Lactaid 100 milk with no ill
effects.  I can also have yoghurt, and anything with no lactose.  But my
symptoms from lactose are PURELY digestive....  flatulence and extreme
diarrhea.  I don't think those are characteristic of allergies, so I feel
that I can't say that I have an allergy to lactose.  Maybe a
"hypersensitivity".
