Well, I have a Yamaha DXSG card, and it allows one to listen to audio in
conjunction to jFW provided that you have an earlier version of
JFW.   There are a few thing in the later versions of JAWS that surprise
me, and they don't have to do anything with being quiet or locking
up.  The forms mode in Internet Explorer for example.  When you hit an
edit box you have to manually turn on the forms mode in order to input
anything.
