Hmmm... there are a few viruses that will destroy a Master Boot
Record. Once that goes, there would be no partition record and,
therefore, no "bootable disk."
That's one possibility anyway.
Do you have a bootable floppy? Or at least something that would allow
you to poke around on the hard disk.
Perhaps Norton can fix this. Do you have that?
