Well, the only way I use to know what antenna I am on is if the noise level
is down, I know it isn't the antenna for that band, then I find a station
and see if it makes a difference for him and all, but if I am just finding
the antenna for a particular band and going to just use that, I just make
sure the noise is louder on 1 antenna then the other, and there is going to
be a difference, + if you choose an antenna on 80, but were using the other
antenna on 10, say, then when you go back to 10 you don't have to change
antennas so if you are only using that 1 antenna for a certain band or
certain bands, you only have to choose the antenna once and that is it, it
will go back to that antenna when you go to that band. That sure is a great
radio isn't it? I love mine.
