Hello Dave

All I can say is that I use the 570 and think it is superb.
* dont know the 870 but feel that the 570 is a good 2nd rig to my
ft1000mp.
I am on holiday in my seaside house where I use the 570 and the only
problem with it is that the filtering is not in the first i.f. and hence
co channel blocking can be annoying, but for general rag chewing on the
key it is superb.
sensitivity seems to be OK. with a home brew 10m high vertical I have
worked all continents in the last 3/4 days and some rarer dx also!
what more could be said.
in terms of accessibility I it better than the ft1000mp in several
respects, but I think that this is a general comment of Kenwood versus
Yaesu.
