Hi.
Actually, the cable is a run-of-the mill shielded audio cable that uses
1/8th inch monaural phone plugs on each end. I had the cable coiled up,
but apparently that didn't introduce enough inductance to arrest the
problem. I am running on a G5RV antenna which is reactive on many
frequencies, and I probably have some reactance that the tuner can live
with, but is still throwing a little RF back into the shack on the shield
of the cable. Possibly, altering my grounding may also improve the situation.
