Subject: DOS programs and JFW and my options

Hi all, I have learned a little bit more about the program that I may be
using that is DOS run. This program that is radio service software will
work in the DOS box in Win-98 or MS DOS v6.2 or higher. I will not have
to worry about slowing down the computer's CPU to run this program that
could also mean running into problems with JFW. What I am just wondering
now is should I download JAWS For DOS, or just use the scripts for DOS if
there are any? The catch here with my radio service software is that I
don't want to use any synthesiser that will require an extra serial port,
because the radio actually connects to the computer via the serial
port. Unless, there is a way of using the software and doing something so
that it will not distract or interfere with the com port that I would have
the radio connected to. Any help with this would be appreciated, and
thanks in advance.
