I want to thank Russ Keen in particular but all of those who participated in
the thread concerning computer noise on the radio. I had an S 6 to 7 noise
level continuously on 80 and 160 meters here but started thinking when I
read about Russ's experiences with his computer power supply. I found that
the supplies in my computer and my wife's computer were very dirty and even
generated garbage when the computers themselves were shut off. I changed
both of them to new ones which said they were FCC certified for home and
office use and my noise level on both bands without atmospherics is now S 2.
It is so nice to hear stations on 80 again and participate in nets hearing
all stations.

Again, thanks guys and take care. 73

Kevin, K7RX :)
