I'm glad they solved that lost  focus glitch, as I've noticed that ever
since 3.71.

Actually, I had very little trouble with JAWS 4.0.  4.01 had a problem
wherein I lost focus in Outlook Express. 4.02 Beta, however, solved that
problem and is working great!
