I had an ft221 here around 1980 or so.  It really was a good radio and
one of the few 2 meter radios I wish I still had.  For those who never
saw one, it was all modes and really was quite good on cw and ssb.  I
think it had am as well, but could be wrong about that.  You could
really zero right in on a frequency too as the tuning was analog which
would make Mike happy.  <grin>
