Yep, I remember the tempo.  I had the icom, but never did figure out a way
to mark the thumb wheels, I guess some of you guys did.  My first ht with
memory was the yaesu 207.  What a battery hog, but had 4 memories and
keyboard entry and all.  Some radio for its day.
Actually, now that I think about it, my very first ht was a regincy.  4
channel crystal controled.  About 4 times larger than the icom.
