Hi everyone, today when going through some stuff I haven't moved from my
grandmother's house to the new house I came across a couple of old crystal
scanners. One is a four channel Regency crystal desk top scanner, and the
other is one of the first bearcat crystal scanners which has
8-channels. Both of these were my grandfather's, but since the police
departments in our area including his have moved to 800 MHz, I am
wondering if I should just ebay them off or if I can modify them and
perhaps change the crystals to 2-meters or what? My thoughts are that
with the Expo I posted about a week ago I might try and do something to
that as well,, but does anyone have any ideas in terms of these old
scanners? Any thoughts would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.
