Well, unfortunately, the only way to rally ddecide would be to have both
rigs at hme for a day or so and learn the controls and see if the 2k is
that much easier to run.  Accessability is the main reason I'm lookingat
the 2k and I've always owned Kenwood, but I've always owned Icom uhf gear.
I've forgotten the specs on both rigs.  I think both cover upp to 450, not
sure on that any more.  Do they cover 220, not sure about that.  I need to
find a place on line that lists specs and compare I guess.

If I go with the 2k, I'll probably get the satellite version with the 1.2
band as I also want to get into satellite stuff.
Appreciate everyone's input here.
