Not exactly ham related, but guess it could be...
Just wondering what any of you are using for a data base.  My wife
is looking for something at work.  I use q and a, but that is dos
and i'm not sure they would want that, although it is extremely
simple.  I've worked with access a bit, but find it very
cumbedrsome.  My biggest complaint with Access is that to get any result at
all, you have to create a report template.  For example, you can't
add field 1 and field 2 and put the result in field 3 in the record,
you have to generate a report.  So, any opinions or suggestions
welcome.  They are running windows 98 and I think office
