Hi eveyone,

I am new to the list and do not know if I do have Celiac Disease, but
with my symptoms I would think I may have it.

I have one question that I would like to ask.. I have had bad allergy
problems since I had my last child, 11 yrs ago I am now 39, and seem to
have most of my accute symptoms when I ovulate and are due for my
monthly cycle. In 1994 and 95 I was continously going into shock
requiring many visits to the hospital..I went on a elimination diet for
a month and lost a lot of wieght, most of my problems seemed to have
then subsided to feeling much better even though I had bad days.
I have never suspected wheat as being a problem for me until someone
mentioned I look into Celiac Disease, I have been reading a lot of
information and not come across anything that links Celiac Disease with
the acute allergy problems that I do have, although I do have a lot of
the symptoms that comes with Celiac I do not wish to confuse the two..
Has anyone else experienced bad allergy reactions who have this disease,
hives, swelling of the throat, aching bones and muscles, acute
tiredness, insomnia. Being in N.Z it is very hard here to convince
doctors to do all the neccessary tests to find out so would love some
concrete evidence to get them to test me for the disease.

Thank you every one for your time.

Sue
