Hi Kevin and others,

I am just guessing, but I think the atomic clocks have a ferrite rod antenna
in them tuned to 60khz.  I'm not sure how the atomic watches work though.  I
think that your vcr gets its time signal off modern tv transmitters that
send digital info along with their normal analog signal.

my Zenith VCR can receive WWVB so darned well and I can't with a hundred or
more feet of wire outside.  <GRIN>
