OK, don't eat storebought chicken raw. I can raise my own
chickens without the problem of salmonella, but that is because I
buy my stock from a poultry battery that raises lab animals and
are guarenteed disease free. I wouldn't worry too much about
eggs, just make sure that they have unbroken shells and you
SHOULD be allright. I regularly eat beef, but I don't buy it
ground, and I wash the outer surface of the meat thoroughly in
the hottest water I can [which is 170 as that is the temperature
I have my water heater set for.] Only the mearest sliver of the
surface gets 'cooked' and it takes care of any surface
contaminates. I don't really like raw lamb, and I wouldn't eat
raw pork in the US if you paid me - too much chance of
contracting trichinosis.  I would be a bit careful about seafood
- shrimps and bivalves are bottom feeders and can pick up
pollutants. I check my tuna and cod thoroughly and remove any
nematodes that I see, and wash it thoroughly. I haven't really
gotten into the 'farmed' fishes [predominantly tilapia and
catfish, both of which I don't really like cooked or raw] but I
would check into what the fish farmers use as feed. I feed my
chickens and sheep straight grain mash [it is available
unmedicated] and the chickens also get crushed eggshells as well
as clean beach sand scattered on the ground where they scratch
for bugs, and the sheep get a plain block of salt on the side of
the trough in the pasturage.
