Once I worked for a UCP sheltered workshop in Dallas. We salvaged components
for ICBM's manufactured by Texas Instruments. One day one of the brighter
clients cam rolling up in hhis wheelchair doubled over laughing. He and this
client who was TBI were doing the final inspection on one batch of components
and had been doing so for 3 days. About 2 PM on the third day, the TBI asked
the CP,"Hey, Curry, what are we supposed to be doing?" This is not fiction,
it happened. Three months later a big missle exploded on the launch pad and
they traced it back to TI.
