Tom:
Thanks for the feedback. What you are suggesting appears to be very
practical, and practice-oriented. What I have in mind is more theoretical,
theory-oriented. I am more concerned with the why, with motivations, with
expectations, than in giving detailed "how-to" advice. A detailed "how-to"
approach is beyond the scope of the newsletter, and that's what the good
books (Clement, Cousens, others) are for.

I have seen that people become rawists for the wrong reasons, and many
of them suffer harm because of that. My interest here is to get people
started on a positive theoretical basis. Then when the fanatics come,
with their idealistic/illusionary approach to rawism, people will
recognize it immediately and reject them (and also, I hope, avoid harm).

My goal is thus to sweep away the zealotry and dogma, then begin to build a
foundation for an open, honest, positive raw foods movement - one that
accepts reality rather than denys it. The newsletter articles are a
very small step towards that goal.

Regards,
Tom Billings
