Looks like you have eliminated the hardware as the culprit. That being said, was
there ever a proxy client installed on that PC? If so, uninstall it and see if
you can connect.
If you are not connecting to a Netware server there's no reason to use IPX/SPX,
you can connect to the print server via TCP/IP. You might want to dump Netbeui
as well and see if you can browse your LAN, print and things like that. If you
cannot browse your LAN with TCP/IP as the only protocol your TCP/IP stack is
corrupt. You may try a fixed IP and see how that goes.
You can re-install from the cabs and see if that helps. Unless there's a lot of
apps that you would need to reinstall, it might be better to do a clean install
to save some time.
