Noted in "The Eternal Frontier" (Tim Flannery, 2001), a significant number
of climatologists think that global warming is leading to increased
snowfall at the poles, resulting in increased sunlight reflection,
accelerating the advance of the next ice cycle.

If this happens the larger and fattier megafauna
(like the giant armadillo) will return.
