The combination of excessive carb intake over many years gives what has been
termed syndrome x; this includes hypertension, diabetes type 2, high
cholesterol [ldl], obesity.....and the restriction of carbs not only reduces
weight and lowers bld sugar and cholesterol, but profoundly improves blood
pressure. The Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution soft cover is the best reference
and instruction book that I know. It is entirely compatible with Neanderthin
suggestions
