Marilyn,

I just started at GW (George Washington University) in Washington, DC. It's
extremely accessible, since it's actually part of the city. All curbs are
cut, all of the buildings (except for some historic rowhouses) are
accessible, and the Disability Support Services office is extremely
accommodating and responsive. They also have a grad school in PT and OT, so
assistants are basically there for the taking.

In addition to the accessibility issues, it's really an excellent school...
There are about 2550 students in the freshman class, not sure of total
numbers. All classes are taught by professors, there's a low
student/faculty ratio, and there are tons of great internship opportunities.
Plus, because it's actually in DC, there's easy access to museums and
cultural activities (i.e., more to do than sit around and drink).

I'm really loving the school so far. Let me know if there's anything else
you'd like to know about it. I'd be interested to hear which school you
decide on. Best of luck to you and your daughter.
