wish i'd had this optionwhen i was young. i fired VR, BUT, then took a year
finding a job on my own.

Hi Chester,
and all those seeking jobs. If Voc Rehab isn't doing their job, you might
consider firing them, and having the funding go to a different agency that
will help you find a job. I did this six months ago, and had gotten some
warm
leads, but now I've got a great Job development coach who really knows how
to
market my particular skills. She works at the employment development dept.
of
the Supported Living service provider that helps me manage my assistants. I
now have 4 part time job possibilities! So, if you're not happy with the
things VR is doing, or not doing, as the case may be, I highly recommend you
request a change of vendors. Federal law now allows this!
