Jen, if you can afford it, there are things that can help you keep what
ability your body has for maybe a decade or two longer. I think others have
said that Hatha Yoga, massage, horseback riding, Feldenkrais method, swimming
in warm water, and chiropractics and Rolfing can all help. If I had not done
Feldenkrais, I know I would have been where I am today, long before I ended
up in a chair at about 40. I started the healing path at age 24... What I am
trying to say is deterioration can be slowed down.
