Hello,

Sites for finding braille, cassette, and large print materials include:

National Braille Press, <www.braille.com>, which produces print/braille
children's books, computer and cookbooks mostly in braille but with some
other formats as well, a self defense book, the Harry Potter series and
more. It is also part of the Blind Ring, which links many
blindness-related sites.

The National Library Service, <www.loc.gov/nls>, which includes a Web
searchable catalog of all the books they and many other organizations
produce in alternative formats and a link to their Web Braille project,
which has put all the braille books they have produced since about 1992 online.

Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, <www.rfbd.org>, which includes a Web
searchable catalog of the books they produce on tape and disk.

The American Printing House for the Blind <www.aph.org>, which has many
products and services and a searchable database of alternative format books.

The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired <www.tsbvi.edu>, an
excellent blindness resource including braille book downloads.

The Electronic Braille Library
<www.braille.org/braille_books/brlbooks.html>, contains many downloadable
braille books.

The Outpost <home.earthlink.net/~mail.tdb/>, contains links to many
blindness-related sites.

Closing the Gap <www.closingthegap.org>, is an excellent resource on
disability in general.
