This is interesting....are people really consuming 3800 calories per day on
average...surely that's very high.

They don't have figures on soft drink and sugar consumption, which presumably
would show an enormous increase. It's interesting that red meat, egg, whole
milk and butter consumption have gone down so much. So why do the pundits
keep going on about "high fat " consumption?
