Please share the following announcement with any students or other
individuals you know who meet the age and citizenship requirements for the
program. The application deadline has been extended to April 23, 2002.


OPENINGS FOR DISABILITY ARTS AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAM TO ENGLAND

Mobility International USA (MIUSA) is seeking applicants from diverse
cultural backgrounds to apply for a two and a half week cross-disability
exchange program to England.  Participants will take part in discussions on
disability rights and leadership, go on excursions to London and Liverpool,
participate in workshops on the performing arts and experience family
customs, food and culture with English host families.  Program dates: June
20-July 7, 2002.

US citizens, ages 18-24, are eligible to apply.  American Sign Language
interpretation and materials in alternative formats will be provided for all
scheduled activities.  Scholarships available for all qualified applicants!
