Don't you know that it takes a special talent to know just the right amount
of pressure, direction and velocity (I don't remember, does velocity
inherently contain direction?) to burst those printouts without ripping the
information apart. Perhaps tape is too hard a commodity to purchase in the
event the information is marred. Obviously, it was such an important task
that the Oyster Bay Bldg Dept couldn't possibly entrust another soul
(living or dead) to touch the NCR printer. Maybe next time you'll know
better. ;-).

off the perforated holder on the NCR
sheets, handed
them to the filer who in turn would give
me the yellow copy.
