hi all:

I've been experimenting using the "title" tag which displays a short link
name until the link is highlighted forcing it to expand to give a fuller
description.
this happens when using the tab or arrow keys in the same way it does with a
mouse so that jaws users here only the expanded description.
but for some reason it doesn't seem to work with mailto links when you
navigate using the arrow keys.
the full description is given if you tab to the link but not if you arrow to
it.
if you use the arrows you hear only the short link name.

firstly is this a known problem with either jaws or the implementation of
the tag?

secondly I'm using jaws 3.7 and msie 5.0,
I haven't had the opportunity to try viewing the code with a different
browser and I'm well aware that there are other screenreaders so I'd like to
know if other people are getting the same results I am?

if you want to see an example of this so you can better understand what I'm
talking about have a look at my homepage which I'm starting to give a long
over due update.
there is an example of this toward
the bottom of the front page.
