Today AiSquared shall release version 7.1 of ZoomText Xtra 7.1 and version
2.1 of BigShot 2.1.

ZoomText Xtra is a 2 level product. Level 1 is a professional screen
magnifier, that magnifies all windows programs from 2 to 16 times in any
display resolution up to 32-bit color depth.
Level 2 adds screen reading (speech support) to the screen magnification.

New features in 7.1 include:
- Full support for Windows XP.
ZoomText Xtra 7.1 now runs on Windows XP/2000/NT/ME/98/95.

- The L&H software speech synthesizer is replaced by the high quality
ViaVoice speech synthesizer from IBM with support for multiple languages
like English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

- Support for Java Access Bridge from SUN.
ZoomText Xtra now tracks on caret input and highlighted items in Java
applications, that support the SUN Access Bridge.

- Command line interface for Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition
program.

ZoomText Xtra 7.1 level 1 cost $395, ZoomText Xtra level 2 cost $595.
Licensed users of ZoomText Xtra 7 level 1 can upgrade to version 7.1 for
$50. Licensed users of ZoomText Xtra 6 level 1 or earlier can upgrade to
version 7.1 level 1 for $99.
Licensed users of ZoomText Xtra 7 level 2, can upgrade to version 7.1 level
2 for $75. Licensed users of older ZoomText versions can upgrade to version
7.1 level 2 for $149.

Licensed users of version 7 who participate in the ZoomText subscription
plan automatically receive version 7.1.
The ZoomText Xtra subscription plan, is a new possibility with AiSquared to
keep your software up-to-date. The subscription plan costs $99 annual for
level 1 and $149 annual for level 2. All updates and upgrades are
automatically be send to you. The plan guarantees at least 2 two paid
upgrades. Users who subscribe now get version 7.1 and the upcoming
version  scheduled in 2002.

The ZoomText subscription plan is only available for north america at this
moment. AiSquared is working on an international subscription plan.

BigShot is a screen magnifier, that magnifies from 105% to 200% in 20 steps
of 0.05%.
BigShot now is fully compatible with Windows XP and cost $99. Licensed
users of BigShot 2 can upgrade to version 2.1 for $25.
