Thanks for pointing this out.  I had the same experience
with the color but I couldn't figure out just what it was
that I liked about the high contrast display.  You
expressed its benefits nicely.

black and white. For me, with aging eyes, I found it much
easier to read most of what was on the screen and that I
wasn?t squinting as much as I usually do."
